Nathan is a singer-songwriter that plays acoustic covers of songs that are in his own style with some originals thrown in. He is currently trying to test the limit of his vocals, trying to broaden his horizons with the way he sings and plays to become a better artist. Nathan tends to lean more towards slower songs/covers that allow him to put more emotion into his performances using his unique voice but, there are a few upbeat and faster songs of which let him play for all moods.
Esmee is a solo singer about to head off to university in London this September to study Musical Theatre. Having risen through the band scene she is enjoying taking some time to sing the styles she loves such as jazz, acoustic pop and a bit of musical theatre too!
Aaron plays acoustic guitar with own vocals, covering in-comfort-zone songs ranging from The Beatles to Incubus, and in-between whatever songs he's currently listening to trying to break his mould to Billie Eilish and Kate Bush. His past experiences started at an early age playing the lead vocals in Guernsey's 'A La Perchoine Musical' in 1990. Following on, learning guitar was on the to-do-list, and joining and forming various cover bands along the way. Following a quiet time raising family members, Aaron is keen to get back into performing and took time out last year to get involved with SOPMs corporate Battle of the Bands playing with members from Guernsey Electricity.
A self-taught 18-year old singer songwriter from Guernsey, Ocean White started playing instruments and singing in 2018. After being spotted on social media, she has been performing at local events including the Cobo Balcony Gig in 2021. Music is a big part of her life and she hopes you enjoy her performances throughout the festival.
Leyla is a diverse young singer, performing a range of songs in the pop, indie and musical theatre genres, with her biggest influence being Taylor Swift. Leyla is excited to once again be taking part in the Guernsey Street Festival for 2024.
Meet Immy Ellis - a young up-and-coming vocal artist with a real passion for music! Ten years since she started out as a SOPM Minis OG, Immy has thrown herself into singing, playing the clarinet, saxophone, acoustic guitar and ukulele! She’d describe herself as a pop singer, has started writing her own music and is influenced by the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Adele and Taylor Swift. A keen performer, Immy’s embraced opportunities with her bands, as a soloist, in the Eisteddfod, theatrical productions and is now excited to have the opportunity to perform solo on the streets of St. Peter Port!
Scar is a singer and guitarist who is taking part in their first Guernsey Street Festival. Despite this, they are already becoming a familiar face in the Guernsey theatre and music scene, enjoying success in shows such as Spamalot and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and winning the 2022 School of Popular Music Battle of the Bands with the band Crossroads. The music he plays is a range of mainly upbeat songs, with well known bangers being interspersed with songs from lesser known artists. As a keen musical theatre partaker and enjoyer, also the presenter of the songs from the shows segment on Jubilee Hospital Radio, they have brought a theatre twist to an acoustic set, with classic musical theatre songs being given a street feel.
19 year old Oscar Armenta is a singer songwriter based in Guernsey and the UK. He has released 2 singles, Unofficial Love recorded at The Cave studios Fareham which follows the cover version release of 'No Right To Love You' produced by Ed Sheeran credited Will Hicks which was played on Love Island UK and has achieved over 10k Shazams. This Guernsey resident is now studying music full time and is now working with some of the UK's finest and most respected songwriters and producers, Including Calum Scott credited Charlie Thomas and Andy Yates, Look out for more original music coming throughout the year
Dave was thrilled to be invited to join the Committee as Communications Officer. Having only been on the island since 2020, he’s fallen in love with the local community and its passion for music and the arts - it’s the reason he’s chosen to call Guernsey his home. Singing and music has always been his therapy, and the opportunity to share this with the world is the greatest privilege.

Consisting of two incredibly talented vocalists, Adam Lacey and Tom Spence, this duo have been wowing audiences with their perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation. Taking classic compositions you know and love and infusing them with new life and energy. From "Nessun Dorma" to "Unchained Melody," their rich and emotional renditions are sure to take your breath away.
Throughout their incredible career, Forever Tenors have had the privilege of performing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Russell Watson, Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins and Wynne Evans, cementing their place as one of the most exciting classical crossover duos to emerge in the industry.
Amelia was welcomed into the Guernsey Street Festival family in 2022, winning 'Best Newcomer” at the tender age of 14. Since then she has been part of both the Summer and Christmas GSF programmes.
Whilst much of Amelia’s set is Pop through the ages, her passion is theatre and you may have caught her as leading lady in an array of musicals on the island over the past year, ranging from “We Will Rock You” to “Footloose” and “Six”.
She has also received outstanding reviews for her portrayal of the titular role in the diary of Anne Frank.
When not rehearsing for the latest production you can find Amelia entertaining at Weddings, Birthday party’s, MTG events and Seafront Sundays.
She is delighted to be back performing for the Guernsey Street Festival this year.
GU10 is a sea shanty and folk music group from the island of Guernsey CI. Formed in 2005 the group entertains at many events every year.
Faolán Griffin is a solo musician and singer songwriter who has established themselves in the Guernsey music scene in the last few years. Their unique powerful vocals are known to captivate an audience and Faolán performs regular gigs across the island with haunting originals to upbeat cover songs. Faolán has an ever-growing repertoire of venues at which they have performed. This includes Castel Cornet, Vale Earth Fair, The Deerhound, to pubs such as The Yacht Inn and the Thomas De La Rue to name but a few. Faolán released their debut single ‘One Day More’ in 2023 which has held its own on streaming platforms and on local radio stations. Faolán is available for gigs, parties, and weddings. Isabelle Lees is a versatile singer and prominent member of the theatre scene in Guernsey. She enjoys performing a mixture of genres from Musical Theatre and Pop to Jazz and Country. Isabelle has been involved in the Guernsey Eisteddfod annually as well as numerous productions on island, with the most recent being 'SIX Teen Edition' with CDA. From September, Isabelle will be attending The Urdang Academy to study a degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Isabelle is really looking forward to taking part in this year's Guernsey Street Festival.
Jacob Wright is a violinist who grew up in Guernsey and is now pursuing his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He began the violin at the age of 5 at the Guernsey Music Service, having lessons with Mervyn Grand and Carmen Craven-Grew. Whilst at Elizabeth College, Jacob also received tuition from visiting professionals Roger Coull, Nick Miller, Ted Barry and YCAT Award Holder Savitri Grier. He also received lessons in London and online with Gabrielle Painter, Sebastien Mueller, Lucy Gould, Simon Fischer, and Bartosz Woroch. He is now studying with violinist Steven Wilkie at the RNCM. Jacob is continually growing his experience as an orchestral musician. Since 2022 he has been taking advantage of the Guernsey Music Bursary Mentoring Scheme, which has allowed him to travel to London to perform side by side with the Southbank Sinfonia. This is a connection which he will continue to maintain and nurture throughout his studies. Jacob also performed within the RNCM’s production of Strauss ’Die Fledermaus’ in 2023, working with conductor David Parry. He has also been working in Manchester with the Carmé Ensemble and recently recording with singer May Payne. As well as an orchestral musician, Jacob performs as a chamber musician with the Vala Quartet, and with his string quintet, the Wright Quintet. During the summer of 2022, Jacob formed the Crwth Quartet, comprised of students from the RNCM who travelled to Guernsey to perform a series of concerts. Jacob also spent the summer of 2022 at the Purcell School, where he attended the English Camerata Soloists chamber music course as an intern. As of 2023, prior to returning to Guernsey for the summer months, Jacob stayed in Manchester to perform in the new concert venue Manchester Mayfield Depot with musician Anna Meredith. He then returned to Guernsey to perform throughout the Guernsey Street Festival, a project in which Jacob has passionately participated since its beginning, concluding his summer performing alongside David Le Page as a part of the annual Town Church Strings concert. Now well into his third year, Jacob has recently performed in London in the Royal Albert Hall as a part of the RNCM Session Orchestra, as well as being invited to visit the Southbank Sinfonia to meet this year’s new cohort of musicians. He has also been performing in Manchester, working with conductors Clark Rundell and Dougie Boyd, and flying back to Guernsey to perform as a part of the Guernsey Youth Camerata Concert. In between his performances, rehearsals with chamber groups and lessons, Jacob has found the time to be a part of founding a new ensemble, the “Osian Ensemble”, which is a fluid ensemble that allows musicians to gather and perform the best of the works written for their instruments, with its debut performance being Strauss’ Metamorphosen, taking place in the RNCM concert hall. In January 2024, he will start a placement with BBC Radio 3 at Media City in Salford, Manchester.
Ashleigh has been performing since she was very young, but will be most known to Guernsey audiences from participating in regular Eisteddfods and singing in Candie Gardens for the summer concerts. She has played roles in local productions of The Sound of Music (2010, Liesl), Sunset Boulevard (2012, Betty Schaefer) and Little Women (2022, Marmee). Ashleigh has a huge passion for music and loves to sing everything from songs from the shows to folk, classical music and opera. She is thrilled to be returning to take part in this year’s Guernsey Street Festival.
Ellie enjoys performing at events throughout the Bailiwick and further afield, from Sarkfest to Weddings and Seafront Sundays to Hotels. Having completed her degree in vocals undertaken at the Academy of Contemporary music in London, she has returned to the Island taking on the new challenge of teaching at the School of Popular Music. She looks forward to the lively hustle and bustle of the Street Festival this year.

DixieMix Jazz Band, one of the UK’s top Traditional jazz ensembles, was formed in 2006 by trumpeter Simon Nelson and have seen great success over the years playing at many prestigious jazz clubs and festivals throughout Europe as well as numerous TV appearances. In 2014 the band was chosen to support Rod Stewart as part of his sell out UK stadium tour playing to 25,000 people a night!
Having produced seven albums to date DixieMix loves to put its own twist on great classic jazz standards and always delivers their music with enthusiasm and humour. The 6 piece band can adapt to many lineups and DixieMix are excited to be bringing a quartet to perform as part of the Guernsey Street Festival this year.
Lee-Ann is a staple performer in the classical music scene. She is well known for her repertoire including hits from the musicals and opera alike.
The Guernsey Majorettes were set up in 1992 and have been a favourite at local events for many years. The troup boasts 5 age groups, mainly based on school years, of whom the older members attend competitions in the UK twice annually.

Fiona Fitton is a young talent, performing a compilation of Disney classics from old favourites like Mary Poppins and the Jungle book all the way to the new chart hits of Frozen and Encanto, hopefully bringing a bit of nostalgia and Disney Magic to this year's Guernsey Street Festival.
Ivy has grown up highly involved in the performing arts scene in Guernsey, performing in productions and competing in Eisteddfods from a very young age. Singing has always been a huge part of her life. While away studying psychology at university, Ivy’s passion for music and singing has not wavered and returning to the island to be involved with the Guernsey Street Festival is one of the highlights of her year!
Rea has been singing solo and with her band for a few years now but is new to the Guernsey Street festival this year! Her favourite artists range from The Killers to Keane and Depeche Mode. She enjoys covering the genres, Rock & Pop.
Elisha has just graduated Italia Conti where she studied Musical Theatre and has returned home for a month off to relax before returning to the UK to pursue her career. She can’t wait to enjoy the sunshine and entertain the people of Guernsey!
Small But Mighty. Lucy Cave is a tiny singer with an angelic tone and a surprising amount of power. She has the type of vocal style that will mesmerize a room. As well as singing beautiful, classical pieces, Lucy also enjoys performing earthy and fun pop-indie tunes. So, if you're looking for a passionate performer with a lot of personality, then look no further!
Many people sing but it takes a special, unique voice to really stand out. From a young age people started commenting that Summer’s voice was different. The quality of her vocals pulls you in and you quickly realize that you are in the moment with her. Summer’s speciality is singing in French and she has excelled in this field placing first in the under 14, under 16, under 18 and adult sections of the French Eisteddfod. Charismatic, bubbly and funny. Once met, you will never forget her.

Acoustic country-pop singer Rachel Dawson is a regular in the music scene as a busker, performer at local restaurants, weddings, parties, corporate events and festivals. Rachel won the 'Best Newcomer Award' at the 2021 Guernsey Street Festival.
A clear songwriting talent, Rachel made the International Finals of the Song Academy Young Songwriter competition in 2020 and is currently studying Music at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
With influences including Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, her unique mix of interpretive covers, with her own material, is at the heart of her enjoyable, emotive set.
The WhyNots are a collaboration between local musicians Louise Mitchinson (vocals), Gill Robinson (piano/vocals), and Nic Vine (drums/percussion). Familiar faces from the local band and musical theatre community, the WhyNots play well-known songs from the charts 60s-00s, and originals with a jazz-folk vibe. Lou has a love of musical theatre and sings regularly in local productions. Gill and Nic have been active in the London and local amateur music community for some time, absorbing a range of style influences from the folk, roots and jazz genres. Isla is an eighteen year old performer from Guernsey. This is Isla's third year performing in the Guernsey Street Festival. Isla won the eighteen and under award for 'Performer of the Year' in 2023, and is excited to bring her new singing material and performance to this year's festival. Isla has just completed her final year on the Guernsey institute's performing arts course and is excited to continue her journey: starting her bachelors degree in acting at 'Drama School London' in October later this year. Isla sings a range of styles including jazz, ballads and pop and is heavily inspired by many of her favourite artists including Billie Eilish, Dominic Fike and Mac Miller.
L'Accordéon De Michel are a delightful staple in the Guernsey music scene. This fantastic duo transports with their traditional musical stylings making anyone feel like they are strolling down the streets of Paris. Their infectious charm is sure to lift your spirits.
SaXometry is an evolving Smoooooth Jazz experience stretching the barriers beyond the smooth and incorporating different musical genres from jazz to pop, electronic swing and even house with a twist. It is all about the SaX (soprano, alto & tenor), but also about the beat. and creating fun sounds tailored to audience expectations with, of course, the unexpected. Past performances include Jamming at the Jam, Dog House, Winter Wonderland and various corporate events as a solo artist or with the band. Bryan is now free from work constraints to take his music to the next level.
Often seen performing as solo artists both on the street and stage, husband and wife duo Mike and Lydia will be bringing some jazzy easy listening to the streets for you all to enjoy in the form of their act ‘Sullyside Up’. Singing some songs you all know and love (and perhaps some you may never have heard of!) they hope to provide you with some happy vibes and a snazzy time whilst you jaunt your way through the streets of St Peter Port.
Benji Grut, is an indie singer/songwriter and guitarist from Guernsey who studies drums and songwriting at BIMM in Bristol. His music is inspired by artists such as Bon Iver, Bo Burnham, Bill Wurtz, Ed Sheeran, Jacob Collier and Cave Town. He plays a variety of instruments and started off on the drums at age 8 and has been developing his songwriting on ukulele and guitar for 6 years. He won the over 18s category at the festival last year and you can find his music on all streaming platforms under Benji Grut.
Lydia Jane Pugh is an award-winning Singer, Composer and Vocal Coach who writes, performs and creates stunning music, whether it is via her own singer-songwriting, writing for others or coaching a new musical talent.
Her songwriting talent is clear, having been shortlisted for the Songdoor International Songwriting Competition, 2012, and making the semi-finals 'Song of the Year, 2014' with '1945' (soft-rock category).
With original songs and insightful interpretations of modern day songs in the jazz idiom, Lydia’s music transcends genres and gets straight to the heart of her listeners.
Originally from Latvia, Egita moved to Guernsey at a young age and has since become an integral part of the local creative scene. Her passion for music and art is contagious and she is always looking for new challenges.
Egita is a familiar face in the local theatre and open mic community, best known for her acapella song adaptations. Her ballads are both emotional and uplifting, weaving together themes of hope and resilience.
Egita has participated in the MTG Sound Of Musicals where she had solo and group performances. In her younger years she participated in many local singing competitions and received several awards.
A passionate performer, Dani has been involved with the local arts scene in various roles over the past few years, performing in plays, pantomimes and the Eisteddfod, as well as directing and playwriting. Music has always been an important part of Dani's life and she is constantly looking to improve and challenge herself as a vocalist, whether it's through alternative rock or the characterful charms of musical theatre!
Romi Rowki is the island dwelling, multi-instrumentalist blending, autobiography with electronic avant garde. You can expect to find yourself relating hard to her emotive and deeply personal lyrics tackling love, loss and everything in between through carefully constructed metaphors, arranged in beautiful layers of harmony. Her ‘less is more’ approach to songwriting means you can expect to hear expansive soundscapes around an intimate vocal line. Based between Guernsey and Brighton, music has been as vital as water to her upbringing. Having started playing in choirs and orchestras at a young age, her ear for harmonies and texture is evident. Working for an electronic music label after leaving school, her influences expanded to include alternative electronic, ambient and trip-hop, and she now subtly marries her love for these juxtaposing musical styles in her own work. Romi Rowki hit the festival stage in 2022 playing slots at El Dorado festival, and you can hear her playing in both Guernsey and Brighton this year. Her debut single 'Hey Peter', released on 26th April 2024, garnered BBC Music Introducing.
Freddie Surman is always an exciting watch, he usually performs music ranging all the way from Johnny Cash and Elvis to reggae mashups of the Greatest Showman. Freddie also is a keen Music writer, you should ask him next time you see him to play an original!
Kiya Ashton is an established singer/songwriter and performer in Guernsey's local music scene, sometimes venturing out to its neighbouring islands, like Sark, as well as the UK. She takes plenty of influence from musicians like quirky 90s artist Tori Amos, pop rock legend Avril Lavigne, and alt rock bands Incubus and The Cranberries. Since beginning her musical journey in 2014, Kiya has also developed the persona "Kiya‐Nico Music" for stripped back acoustic covers by mainstream pop and rock artists. She's crafted a multi genre sound that compliments the emotional tales that she presents in her songs, inspiring deep thought and encompassing you in a floating bubble of relaxation.
An inspiring Filipino singer, July has performed in many online competitions and local venues such as the Farmhouse, the Doghouse and Thomas de la Rue. He has won a national online competition and is known for his ballads, r&b, classic, reggae and love songs. He loves performing songs by his favourite artists, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Queen and Sam Smith.
Eve is a singer-songwriter who you can normally see gracing the theatre scene. She's a lover of Taylor Swift (hence the guitar!) and loves singing ballads of that style. She also loves to change the style of popular songs, giving a new life to old favorites. She is also working on some of her own music, which she will hopefully start to release next year! (You might get a sneak preview when she's performing!) Eve has just completed a Foundation year in Musical Theatre and is going on to do a degree in Musical Theatre and Film Acting, where she wishes to continue writing music and shooting music videos. She hopes to see you at the festival!
Chris has been playing the guitar for a number of years but recently decided to go acoustic with vocals. He is now living the dream just 50 years too late after retiring and having time to play music. His style is influenced by folk, rock and blues.
Naomi is a young up-and-coming artist who has a passion for music. Naomi enjoys making music in a variety of settings from singing in choirs to playing her cello in orchestras and she is looking forward to the festival this year where she will be singing and playing the guitar. After her debut last year, she is returning to the Guernsey Street Festival this year having spent a year working and travelling across New Zealand, Australia and Europe. She is looking forward to being back in Guernsey this summer, so listen out for her relaxed renditions of contemporary and classic pop songs at the festival.
Paula Emilia is a singer songwriter whose music encompasses acoustic pop covers and original songs. She started writing her own music at a young age and accompanies herself on guitar
As a singer, Carly is involved in many music groups such as the bands ‘Underdog’ and ‘Tailor Made’, local choir ‘Bel Canto’, and smaller groups such as acoustic duets, trios and the widely known female vocal quartet, ‘Fourtissimo’ all of which, gig regularly for various events around the island. She is a regular soloist for private parties and events, has performed in musical theatre shows as well as being a vocal coach. Carly is passionate about singing and is keen to show her enthusiasm, skills and experience in the various styles of music she performs.
Dan is a musician/songwriter whose musical style is a mixture of Rock, Pop, Blues and Country. Dan writes his own music, playing all the instruments. Dan’s inspiration is music from the 70’s and 80’s mainly which is evident in his music. Dan’s smooth vocals and retro playing style make him a stand out artist in the modern music scene.
Carly & Nate are a new acoustic duo on the scene but have both been performing in the band 'Underdog' for over 2 years so are well-accustomed to being on the stage together.With a combination of acoustic guitar and beautiful vocal harmonies, their acoustic duets are perfectly suited for wedding ceremonies, evening entertainment and the streets of Guernsey vibes.As well as their acoustic sound,they do an electric guitar set for more upbeat and lively gigs to get people dancing and singing.
Bowjangles are an award winning singing, dancing, comedy string quartet from the Uk. Unable to sit still, they create choreographed comedy sketches with their own arrangements & original songs. They perform all over the world in theatres, cabarets, variety shows and on the street.
Their style of performance originated on the world's one and only classical busking pitch in London's Covent Garden!
Dan is an English guitarist/ singer & songwriter whose influences vary from John Mayer to Bruno Major to Stevie Wonder. His performances include acoustic revamps of RnB classics and sensitive singer-songwriter songs that he mashes up with modern pop tunes. Since he started studying at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2023, Dan has started to learn new crafts, song writing and singing. His original music is written to provoke emotions through its sensitive lyrics and melodic hooks which are amplified by his engagement in each performance of each song.

Known on the local scene for appearing in many productions on the island over the years, Michael is now venturing out into some solo work for you all to enjoy. Covering a wide range of styles, from rock to jazz, and some contemporary songs thrown in as well, he is an artist that will surely have something that everyone could enjoy.
Dave has been singing from the age of eight and playing guitar from sixteen - first teaching himself basic power chords through listening to bands like Green Day and Nirvana, then through more complex progressions from the likes of Radiohead and the Beatles. Having not had much opportunity to perform before coming to Guernsey, Dave is now thankful to be able to do so here on a regular basis.
