Classical-Pop Duo
Forever Tenors, are a dynamic classical crossover duo that has taken the world by storm. With performances sung in English, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and German, Forever Tenors offer a truly international experience.
Consisting of two incredibly talented vocalists, Adam Lacey and Tom Spence, this duo have been wowing audiences with their perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation. Taking classic compositions you know and love and infusing them with new life and energy. From "Nessun Dorma" to "Unchained Melody," their rich and emotional renditions are sure to take your breath away.
Throughout their incredible career, Forever Tenors have had the privilege of performing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Russell Watson, Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins and Wynne Evans, cementing their place as one of the most exciting classical crossover duos to emerge in the industry.
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist
Dan is an English guitarist/ singer & songwriter whose influences vary from John Mayer to Bruno Major to Stevie Wonder. His performances include acoustic revamps of RnB classics and sensitive singer-songwriter songs that he mashes up with modern pop tunes. Since he started studying at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2023, Dan has started to learn new crafts, song writing and singing. His original music is written to provoke emotions through its sensitive lyrics and melodic hooks which are amplified by his engagement in each performance of each song.
Four Piece Funky Brass Band
Founded in 2015, the King Brasstards emerged as one of the UK’s pioneering funky brass bands, their outstanding ability to entertain is unparalleled.
King Brasstards aren’t just about the big stage moments; “We can steal the show with a simple, spontaneous performance at a reception,” explains Frontman Gareth John. He adds, “Our dynamic range, from a tight three-piece to a magnificent seven-piece band, ensures both we and our clients enjoy ultimate flexibility.”
With two distinctive vocalists leading their ensemble, the band guarantees exhilarating performances that are not only delightful but also tailored to the desires of their clientele.
Their musical canvas, while vast, always maintains a funky New Orleans-inspired undertone. With three stellar albums under their belt, their relentless dedication to versatility and a sharp business ethic is evident.
From electrifying the arena at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham to energizing the stands backing Team GB at the Billie Jean King Cup, their pulsating beats have echoed across numerous prestigious events. They've enlivened The Hundred cricket matches, set the pace at Formula One in Silverstone, cheered on the Leicester Tigers Rugby, got fans on their feet at Premier League football matches, and have been the soul of many basketball finals events.
Television hasn't been immune to their charms either. Their charisma on ITV’s 'Britain’s Got Talent', Channel 4, BBC Red Button, BT Sport, and Sky Sports speaks volumes about their adaptability.
Beyond live sports and broadcasts their tunes have caught the ears of industry giants like SkyBet, Boohoo, Meta Platforms, Amazon and Uber to name to name a few. In 2022, they left an indelible mark at the Travel Industry Awards held at the esteemed Rosewood Hotel in London. Their unique talent for kickstarting the party from any corner of a room, before owning the stage, is their signature entertainment move.

Singing, Dancing, Comedy String Quartet
Bowjangles are an award winning singing, dancing, comedy string quartet from the Uk. Unable to sit still, they create choreographed comedy sketches with their own arrangements & original songs. They perform all over the world in theatres, cabarets, variety shows and on the street.
Their style of performance originated on the world's one and only classical busking pitch in London's Covent Garden!
Jazz Band
DixieMix Jazz Band, one of the UK’s top Traditional jazz ensembles, was formed in 2006 by trumpeter Simon Nelson and have seen great success over the years playing at many prestigious jazz clubs and festivals throughout Europe as well as numerous TV appearances. In 2014 the band was chosen to support Rod Stewart as part of his sell out UK stadium tour playing to 25,000 people a night!
Having produced seven albums to date DixieMix loves to put its own twist on great classic jazz standards and always delivers their music with enthusiasm and humour. The 6 piece band can adapt to many lineups and DixieMix are excited to be bringing a quartet to perform as part of the Guernsey Street Festival this year.
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist
Acoustic country-pop singer Rachel Dawson is a regular in the music scene as a busker, performer at local restaurants, weddings, parties, corporate events and festivals. Rachel won the 'Best Newcomer Award' at the 2021 Guernsey Street Festival.
A clear songwriting talent, Rachel made the International Finals of the Song Academy Young Songwriter competition in 2020 and is currently studying Music at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
With influences including Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, her unique mix of interpretive covers, with her own material, is at the heart of her enjoyable, emotive set.
Jazz Vocalist
Lydia Jane Pugh is an award-winning Singer, Composer and Vocal Coach who writes, performs and creates stunning music, whether it is via her own singer-songwriting, writing for others or coaching a new musical talent.
Her songwriting talent is clear, having been shortlisted for the Songdoor International Songwriting Competition, 2012, and making the semi-finals 'Song of the Year, 2014' with '1945' (soft-rock category).
With original songs and insightful interpretations of modern day songs in the jazz idiom, Lydia’s music transcends genres and gets straight to the heart of her listeners.
Singer
Amelia was welcomed into the Guernsey Street Festival family in 2022, winning 'Best Newcomer” at the tender age of 14. Since then she has been part of both the Summer and Christmas GSF programmes.
Whilst much of Amelia’s set is Pop through the ages, her passion is theatre and you may have caught her as leading lady in an array of musicals on the island over the past year, ranging from “We Will Rock You” to “Footloose” and “Six”.
She has also received outstanding reviews for her portrayal of the titular role in the diary of Anne Frank.
When not rehearsing for the latest production you can find Amelia entertaining at Weddings, Birthday party’s, MTG events and Seafront Sundays.
She is delighted to be back performing for the Guernsey Street Festival this year.
We're a “not-for-profit” organisation committed to the promotion of community spirit, the encouragement and showcasing of local talent, and celebration of visiting artists and street entertainers. We're creating a platform for performers and artists of all genres, skills and ages to promote themselves to the people of Guernsey and to promote Guernsey to visitors.
During the festival there will be multiple locations around St Peter Port that will be set up for our performers and artists.
